No they didn't unless his tactics were to pass to Bale. Which let's face it was hardly sustainable in the long run . We were for the most part as poor as this.

Have you seen Soldado play for us before? What difference would he make today?

Any manager doesn't stand a chance with the lot we've got at the moment, not without a good amount of time and also the opportunity to have a bit of a reshuffle. Too many weak characters in the squad.

Neither AVB or TS are good enough. There was a basis at least for appointing AVB but TS really was a punt - shows how few options there were available
