With Defoe upfront on his own today. Bale should NOT be sticking to the left. His crosses will be headed away each time. This is not the way to supply Defoe.
Bale should be cutting inside all day today.

I think we should have at least put a striker on the bench. Cameron Lancaster?

He's had an injury for a while, which is a bit of a shame as he'd be at least an option to have rather than having no options.....Even Coulibaly would have made sense surely?

Is this Smith's first time on the bench for us?

Hands up who thinks we're gonna win???

Frankly, if we don't win today, then we don't deserve CL football.

We are a better team than QPR, and I expect a performance.

One of Bale's special, drill it along the face of goal, crosses wouldn't hurt. Although no one ever seems to get on the end of them :(

If the players were intelligent, we should still be able to cross it in. Defoe used to score quite a few with near post whip ins from Lennon. To do this though, we're going to have to support him and make sure we're supplying the right type of cross, into a abox with multiple spurs players so their defence can't all crowd out Defoe.

I'm not looking forward to what Zamora is going to do today.

Big game for our 3 central midfielders. They need to absolutely BOSS the game. If we've been practicing team shape all week I am quite glad we've been practicing the 4-3-3/4-5-1 formation as I think it is our future. Sandro/Parker/Modric has the potential to be an unbelievably good midfield three but they need to work at it, Sandro and Parker need to get used to each other and need to know what jobs to do. COYS!!!

GK: Friedel
RB: Walker
CB: King
CB: Gallas
LB: Ekotto

CDM: Parker
CDM: Sandro
CM: Modric

RF: Rafa
LF: Bale

ST: Defoe.

4-5-1, keep it tight for 70 minutes and then go for the win in the last 20 mins. Seems to be our standard away game play at the moment. Much preferred it when it was 4-4-2 and we played the same way home and away!!

That said, QPR have been excellent at home in the last few games (let's not forget they beat Arsenal and Liverpool there recently) and it may be better to be slightly prudent.

The most important thing is we need to play the ball on the fudging floor. Friedel had better stop hoofing the ball to Defoe and VDV or we will be royally fcuked

Its 4-3-3

If we play even as half as good as we did at home to this lot, we should comfortably win this. This is saying more about how we played at home though in that game. One of the best Spurs performances I've ever seen

You and me both

We don't know if it's tactical or an injury risk if he starts, no point him tearing anything now. Whilst Lennon is a rather good player, he has been rather brick this season for actually being fit, it's not his fault and it's defintely someone else's fault for not getting any sort of cover but it's really fudged us a up a bit I feel.
