I think this is a must-win match for us as we have gone 3 matches without a win. We cannot afford to go without a win for too long as other teams might take advantage of that in the top 4 race. Besides, after the disappointing FA Cup defeat to Leeds, we need to bounce back quickly with a win. This will be a real test of character to the team as it will show how they react to demoralising defeats. And the fact Norwich beat us in League Cup makes it more important for us to beat them and get the revenge.
Our attack will be a the key for us in this match. Dempsey has done well with 5 goals in 5 matches. Hope he will continue that goal scoring form. Defoe has gone off the boil in recent weeks. He badly needs a goal in this match to rediscover his goal scoring form. Bale has not been in great form since the suspension. This will be a perfect match for him to get back on form.
Hope we will see Holtby at some stage of the match. Dembele has not been in great form in recent matches. So, it will be nice to have Holtby as another option in midfield. It will be nice to see Holty get a goal or assist on his debut. Just hope Parker will help him settle in.
Our defence have not been convincing lately. This will be a great chance for them to put up a good performance and keep a clean sheet. After the disappointing way we conceded goals against Leeds, keeping clean sheet will go a long way in helping to boost our confidence in defence.
