Need to get them re-organised and motivated and play a different game this half.
 
Really this kind of a performance shouldnt come as a suprise. There has been a serious lack of edge in this team for a while now hence the results. Yes there have been games where we have dominated posession but we are missing the intensity in our play that we had at the start of the season. Its like we are going through the motions and i cant understand what exactly is going on in the players heads. We need to win. Why arent they putting everything into the matches currently?

The gap we had to the other teams has been decimated. The players need to get in in there heads sharpish that if they dont step it up then they can kiss goodbye to champions league football next year. Mentality is brick currently. You can see it in the peformances.

To be fair, we started well. I thought we were going to score after 2 mins. But their first attack showed King's current lack of form and our confidence drained and their confidence upped.

Was a great ball by Livermore, and Im not belittling his efforts. But today, Parker was called "poisonous to our passing game", by one poster.

Which leaves me wondering what the f#ck is poisoning us today without him. We have been sh#t.

Its not even a system problem today. They have matched us. They are actually hungrier and outperforming us. Thats what hurts. It's absolutely painful to see this. We should be chomping at the bit to get on that green and making it an absolute nightmare for the opposition. Attack after attack, keep them pinned back.

Really really hope we get no more injuries today either. Can just see something stupid like King limping off and Livermore having to go to CB. It's got that type of feel to it.

Somebody tell me we're going to win please.
 
Ade or Sandro on for Saha - anyone, really, Saha's been totally invnisible for most of the first half.

I'd do this--but not sure how lone striker Defoe would get on. Not really suited to on his own up top role.

The irony is that the less he gets played, the more frustrated he gets - and as a result does more 'shift and hit from 30 yards'! The lad should be played more often, whether that means he gets more time as a substitute, more starts - or both.
 
Keep supporting the lads, but I just wonder sometimes; the players themselves seem uncommitted, which leads to losses, which leads to us missing out on CL football. And yet those same players then agitate for moves away from the club as if they gave their absolute all and had nothing to feel down about.

Strange.

Still, support is support. And I'm backing the lads. Let's go, boys! Win this!
