we just cant afford any sloppy passes. rose turning over possession with a crap pass to chadli leads immediately to ivanovic on the ball inside our own 6 yard box.

its crucial that we can somehow move up a notch in terms of quality on the ball. you get away with it against most sides, but if you want to be competing with chelsea you cant just give possession away constantly.
 
Seriously. Get Townsend off, bring Soldado on, put Chadli on the right, Eriksen in the left and Kane off him.
 
Get till half time and at least we have something to build on in the second half. We have been awful and a moment of greatness by Kane doesnt hide that fact but at least we havent capitulated like times in the past.

That would make Kane easier to pick up and take direct running out of the team, making it too easy for cheatski to defend
