*** Tottenham Hotspur v West Brom OMT ***

Yacob is out for them. Pulis will probably play Gardner and Morrison in midfield. Should walk all over them. Especially Gardner is a very average player. (Now watch him score a blinder)

Agreed - however both of them are very handy from 25 yards

On paper, this match looks like a easy win for Spurs. But on reality, this won't be that easy. WBA has been our bogey team at home in recent years. We have not beaten them at home in our last 3 matches, drawing 2 and losing 1. Fortunately for us, this match is away at WBA where we have a much better record. We have won 3 and drawn 2 of our last 5 matches at WBA. But WBA did beat Arsenal at home earlier. So, this could be a very tricky match for us. It is great that we are on a 13-match unbeaten run. But we have thrown away too many points by drawing winnable matches during those times. So, hope we won't throw away more points and beat WBA like last season.

It was disappointing that Kane couldn't continue his goal run against Chelsea. Hope he will get back into the goal scoring mood in this match. But our key player could be Eriksen as he has scored 4 goals in 4 matches against WBA. Unfortunately, Eriksen has been very inconsistent this season when it comes to scoring goals. Let's hope he can somehow score against WBA. Lamela can be our secret weapon in this match as long as he is fully fit. His work rate and creativity can be very crucial in this match. Son has struggled for form since his injury. But it will cause no harm to his form if he can score in this match.

Our midfield were a bit disappointing without Alli against Chelsea. So, the return of Alli will be a welcome boost to our midfield. It will be great to see Alli, Dier and Dembele continuing their good partnership in midfield. Just hope Alli can control his temper in this match. Despite being only 19, Alli should learn to control his temper as it could be costly like his 5th yellow card against West Ham which caused him to get suspended against Chelsea.

Our defence have done well to keep clean sheet in the last 2 matches. Hope we can continue that in this match. It will be disappointing if we can't stop WBA from scoring in this match, especially Berahino who we tried to sign. They don't have any top quality players but they can hurt us if we are not carefull. Afterall, they did beat Arsenal. So, Vertonghen, Alderweireld and Lloris have to be alert all times. Just hope Walker, Davies or Rose will avoid making any silly mistakes.

We have thrown away points to bottom teams this season like Swansea and Stoke. Hope we won't this time. Despite playing away, these are the kind of matches we have to win to stay in the top 4 race.

Any team news yet ?

Annoyingly, this match is not being shown live here in Asia. Not sure how the stupid TV stations picked the Southampton V Villa match ahead of ours. Anyway, hope we will turn up with the right mentality and get a comfortable win.

Otherwise as expected

I expected Lamela to start. Son is good, but Lamela has been having a very good season and deserves to start. Son didn't really contribute anything against Chelsea, certainly nothing to merit his inclusion here.

The bench shows we dont have that much strength in depth really, 2 promising youngsters in Winks & Onomah though

There's also Mason, Bentaleb, Chadli, Pritchard, Townsend, Fazio, Davies who aren't on the bench for various reasons so there is some depth. The glaring whole though, as we all know, is a back-up CF

Nice move from us.

This is going to be a fight though. Dembele and Dier in the middle Alli in the No 10 - they never get it right on telly!
