That's the thingWe should have finished the job at 3 nil but instead are now relying on a solid, professional, away performance in a European semi final in a tricky away game - 2 nil up against a side of much lower standing should be enough, no excuses really but this is Spurs we're talking about so the reaction is justified![]()
It’s always been the case though for the bigger gamesI thought the atmosphere was great last night and the ground looked quality with pretty much 90% of fans decked out in colours - people moaning about the new stadiums atmosphere, if we're in a positive place and playing big games then it can rock
It's always been like that on a big European night, it's nothing new. The atmosphere for your standard league game is poor and has been for years...I thought the atmosphere was great last night and the ground looked quality with pretty much 90% of fans decked out in colours - people moaning about the new stadiums atmosphere, if we're in a positive place and playing big games then it can rock

Other than that I concur
NahResults and performances will always drive the atmosphere.
Yeah. Think that home game v the Goons is top of the tree.Think it was decent under Conte as we were pushing the top 4

Yeah, I thought we were decent last night. Tamworth aside, Bodo were probably the lowest quality opposition we've faced this season and after the perfect start they were there to be blown away. But we never really had any sustained periods of pressure and made them suffer. It was fits and starts. Whether that's because we weren't capable or were playing with a bit more caution is the question, I guess.Thought we played well without being that great. They were there for the taking but we didn’t finish them off.
Just as brainless were the people in the crowd shouting during the minutes silence. Is it really that difficult to just STFU for one minute....Yeah, I thought we were decent last night. Either way, a place in the final is all that really matters atm and a 2 goal advantage should be enough unless Bodo show a dramatic improvement in the 2nd leg.
As others have said, very good atmosphere in the ground last night with everyone fully behind the team. Well, except for a few macarons who thought that 3 nil up in a semi final was the perfect time for some 'We want Levy out' chants. Brainless.

Yes sirJust as brainless were the people in the crowd shouting during the minutes silence. Is it really that difficult to just STFU for one minute....
I'm not religious, but the Pope is obviously a big deal to many. But no matter who it is, if asked to hold a minutes silence at a game to show respect for someone I will whether I know the person or have any affiliation with them or not it's a mark of respect. I think I can hold off shouting out 'Yid army' for an extra minute....Yes sir
Minutes silence for the pope is a bit of an odd one, even by football standards in my view !
I agree 100 percent on the silence, seemed the ref blew the minute early?I'm not religious, but the Pope is obviously a big deal to many. I thought that too, which makes it even worse couldn't even keep quiet for less than a minuteI agree 100 percent on the silence, seemed the ref blew the minute early?
I wasn't really paying attention ha
