What’s that supposed to mean
Multiplex have offered to take over from Mace?!!?
Lots of inside stuff must be done or almost done too I would have thought
Looks like the west side could be finished by the end of this month.
Going by this small piece posted on SSC, their original bid was to have it done by December. There's a big difference in 'complete' and 'ready'.
Not sure that Multiplex have the greatest track record of their own.Going by this small piece posted on SSC, their original bid was to have it done by December. There's a big difference in 'complete' and 'ready'.
The delays in the construction of Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium will have come as no surprise to Multiplex, which was the second-placed bidder for the job when pitches were made to the club in 2015.
Multiplex’s proposed bid offered an estimated completion date of December 2018, but Tottenham chose to go with Mace, a rival building firm, whose tender claimed that the new stadium would be ready by July this year. More than three years later, the completion date is still unknown, with the earliest that Tottenham could open their stadium being the visit of Chelsea on November 24.
Exactly. I can't remember a single major build they have completed on schedule. They are throwing stones in a glass house. Not sure that Multiplex have the greatest track record of their own.

The more pictures I see the more convinced I am that the stadium would have been ready for the Liverpool game.

Agreed - the schedule changed hugely as soon as the delay was announced, so they've been doing the sky bar sky lounge wotsits under the roof, rather than focussing on the pitch, seats, paving... but when you think what a bombsite WHL was towards the end (having to walk under the construction of the new west stand, to get to WHL) then paving and walkways were really not a big deal. The more pictures I see the more convinced I am that the stadium would have been ready for the Liverpool game.
Is it me, or its that REALLY generous for the away team?
An office for the coach, a big changing room, a physio area...
I thought the point was to make the Away side as uncomfortable as possible?
I want to see shenanigans like this: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45247073
not 5* luxury!
Didn't multiplex do Wembley? That went well.
Or the low-cost Poyet approach -

Was it quite a long queue?I couldn't care less we have a good record at Wembley and the stadium is well worth the wait unlike any pussy that I've been made to wait for...
