Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

One thing i like about Wembley is the escaltors. Perhaps we could have vertical traveltors. They have them at Disney thought they were good with images of disney characters going past the higher you got.

Instead od disney we could have spurs players.

Do you mean pasternosters: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paternoster? Leicester and Sheffield universities are the only places left that have them in the UK IIRC. They are supposed to be much more efficient than lifts, but people more sober than students are generally a bit cautious about them.

"The feature staircase in the Tottenham Experience is installed linking the ground floor retail space to the first-floor museum."

This stage of the roof construction may not yet be on the critical path.

Waving my HitchHikers towel now.
I personally think the completion of the compression ring and the roof lift is absolutely on the critical path, cannot complete anything inside the bowl such as tray lanes, floor finishing, full tray builds and laying of turf, seating, lighting, etc.

Out of interest, how many other PM or ex PM's like myself are marvelling at the logistics of this thing? :D

I doubt May is posting on here Mr Blair. She's busy with fudging up the country.

I can't wait to be walking up the stairs and out into the stadium for the first time....

(Lol at the first comment and reply under the tweet :
Twitterer #1 : I'm sorry but it looks so much like the [scum's] ground.
Twitterer #2 : Empty? ) :D
Think I'll literally cry the first time I make the climb up those stairs and then see our new home in all its glory.....just as I shed a little tear when I exited the south stand last may against United.

New beginnings..... literally onwards and upwards. Boy, we really are going places.

What could go wrong?
I remember doing a complete loop of the tower in one of those paternoster things when I was an undergraduate, I’d probably do myself an injury trying to hop in or out of the moving cubicle nowadays though.

I wasn't sure where to put this, so I put it here. From this week's Popbitch

>> Kober and out <<
Ed predicts a riot

Labour council leader Clare Kober's decision to quit Haringey, citing bullying and sexism, made headlines this week.

Clare was certainly much more popular with the party's top brass in 2011. Following the Tottenham riots, she welcomed then-Labour leader Ed Miliband to the area, to show him some of the devastation.

Ed and his party disembarked the tube at Seven Sisters to be met by Kober and council dignitaries. Immediately Ed started to look around, wide-eyed, and empathised with them about the terrible post-riot wasteland he was confronted by.

The council leaders had to quietly tell him he hadn't yet got to the scene of the riots. All he could see was... well, Tottenham.

Vertical is very steep. Do you mean those moving walkways at the airport, but at a slight incline?

Yes thats it by george hes got it. Like at Disney when you are waiting in line to go into space mountain. I love them at the airport as well because we always seem to go from the gate as far from the terminal as possible.

I remember people coming round the bottom bit doing handstands, to freak out the freshers.

4 pieces left now - the compression ring should be finished this weekend. That's still on target for an early February roof lift
