Whichever 11 get the nod hopefully they realise its
squeeky(not spelled right whats the matter with me lol) bottom time.

Come on spurs lets fight all the way to achieve our season aims.

Southampton are tough oppo and have played well at times under the argentinian bloke.

I just worry if things dont go well early on and the crowd get nervous and get on players backs..... against city the fans were incredible and I felt so proud hearing them come through loud and clear on tv.

wish i could be at this but inbetween jobs so cant justify any more whl this season boo. and i hate watching ssn and watching merson and co when things go against us.

Spurs haven't won a 3pm kick off at WHL on a Sat in the Premier League all season.

That's a ridiculous stat.

they were against Wigan x2, Norwich, West Brom and Stoke and people wonder why we aren't in the top four. Ridiculous.

You only play each club once at home I thought?

Arsenal have drawn against Sunderland and Fulham and lost to Swansea in Saturday 3pm home games.

From AVBs press conference today:

#thfc AVB says Dembele should train with the team tomorrow and "there is a good chance" he will be available against Southampton.

#thfc Adebayor is also back in contention after experiencing "a small pain in the knee" before the trip to Wigan, which ruled him out.

He's a very important player but i'd rather rest Dembele to be fair. Chelsea game is FAR more important. I mean we should be more than capable of beating Southampton without Dembele, despite how good he is.

I reckon play at home with a 3 in midfield of Sigurdsson, Huddlestone and Holtby and we'd boss midfield, seriously. It doesn't look like a midfield 3 of world beaters but they'd compliment each other well. Add to that Bale and Lennon in attack and you've got a fine team.

Perhaps Dembele can start on the bench... Really good news that he's in contention at least!

I would be shocked (and delighted) if Parker doesn't start.

We'll see Parker. No chance he'll be dropped. I'd quite like to see the trio of Sig Hudd and Holtby but it's just very very unlikely.

Sadly, I agree. It's a shame that Parker is still getting games despite being off form. AVB must really like him. Were Chelsea after him last season under AVB at the same time we were? Or am I just completely making stuff up here? I think the trio would work well. Siggy at the top of the three, almost playing off of the striker in his best position and Holtby and Hudd a little deeper but dictating the play.

Yeah, I'd prefer it if Dembele started on the bench. We should see how Holtby does in the middle, I mean it's a squad game, let's use it.

For me we need to play the same team and formation that scored 3 goals in 7 minutes against City, except replace Dempsey for Lennon.

Lloris

Walker Dawson Vertonghen BAE

Hudd Dembele Holtby

Bale Defoe Lennon

Absolute must win.
