maybe your perspective from the touch line is more informative. didn't spot you there on the bench next to poch :)

what do you think then, any team that faces benteke needs to accpet defeat. actually i dont understand why other footballers are allowed to exist. we should scrap football and just watch benteke spring in the air for 90 minutes and head butt a wall whilst admiring the rippling of his zeus like neck muscles.
 
we have been incredibly easy to play against today its really not funny. although watching townsend trying to beat players is somewhat amusing.
 
There is a huge lack of ideas on and off the pitch the last couple of games. I am a bit worried to be honest.

I wasn't the one who said Benteke was unplayable. But in football there is this constant blame game when at times you just have to accept there wasn't a lot that should have been done. Benteke is an absolute handful and you have to make it as difficult for him as possible,but you also have to accept that won't always be enough....
 
townsend isnt good enough to get the better of kieran richardson. says it all really.

should we be assuming that lamela is written off and gone on the summer at this point?

maybe if fazio had jumped it would have made it more difficult (defended his man)
maybe if chirches hadn't given the ball away in our own half we would've prevented the cross (cut off supply)
maybe if we were playing properly we would expose the likes of cleverly and richardson and not have to worry about it so much (play our own game and sweep them aside)

but those are the points you ridiculed arent they? so not really sure what your getting at.

EDIT: i think its high time we played the blame game with our porous defence and increasingly directionless team in general.
