The guy had two massive injuries then got bellended by Mason and lost another 3 games.

Benteke is just another Andy Carroll or Kevin Davies. Very effective in the right system. Lambert's side played the ball on the floor too much for him.

OK. in the future teams are going to have to score 6-7 goals a game to beat villa from now on because they have a super human up front.

he is a mix between pele and godzilla. you can cut the supply, mark benteke effectively or just be a competent side, play your own game and sweep dross like villa aside. unfortunately we dont appear capable of doing any of them today.

we have players in the side who arent premier league quality, others who are so out of form they shouldnt be starting.
 
Would take off Townsend at half time and put on Davies.

Play 3 at the back, Chiriches and Rose wing backs and move Chadli up near Kane

If nothing happens bring on Soldado and possibly Yedlin

Benteke has been slowly coming back from a serious Achilles injury which kept him sidelined for months.....its a nasty injury to have, really fcuks with your brain because you don't want to push the recovery too much in case it snaps again
 
Vorm, Chiriches, Fazio : know they are never gonna be first choice and have nothing to play for
Mason, Bentaleb : seasons over, did well nothing to prove, no competition
Rose, Dier, Townsend: playing for their positions
Kane: looks frustrated, wants to get more goals
Eriksen: trying but nothing is falling for him.
Chadli: seems to be trying but off form
Townsend: trying but always the wrong decision

Can't wait for next year already to see this pooch system and players, gonna be brilliant. Really glad that we've gone with pooch and not wasted a year thinking about a system we'll be good at next year. That de boer would've been a failure.

This mythical "system" has been crap for most of the season with ALL the players. Take away Kane and Eriksens goals and we have been brick under Poch.

Ah why didn't every other teams' manager Benteke Has scored against think of that?! Such a simple game from your armchair isn't it....
