The Youth Players/On-Loan Thread 2018/19

I am surprised Oakley booth has lost his place in the squad to Skipp.

Poch seemed to like him. Do we think Oakley-booth has been having seconds in the staff canteen.

Tottenham have a handful of prospects in this age group and the Maidstone-born White has sailed a little bit under the radar but he is improving all the time and, most importantly, he is highly rated by the people that matter at the club. A good reader of the game, with sound passing and an excellent left foot, he is considered to be most effective as a defensive midfielder but he has shown the intelligence and versatility to slot in at left-back and centre-half. He was a standout performer at left-back earlier this season in the under-18s' win over Chelsea – who are widely regarded as the powerhouse of English youth football. His dangerous set-piece delivery is another of his attributes. David Hytner
