Bitter is their constant state. Bitter and deluded.Goons at work are bitter AF.
Lol he was certain it posed no danger to him... Proper hooliganView attachment 14052Completely missed this. Royal channelling his inner hooligan.
Sad thing is that it isn't as bad as the one on son last week at Liverpool that has barely been mentioned.Rob Holding is lucky that he was not given a straight red for that foul

It’s a foul anywhere else on the pitch and no argumentsI think Neville got it spot on for the pen when he said Cedric went in too early, you'd normally get away with those bumps in the air if it at least looks like you've gone for the ball but there was no ball to go for.
To me it wasnt the noise that impressed me last night about the fans it was pure positive support of the team, no groaning when errors were made, simply forgotten and roared them on. If only we could do this every game instead of the negative stuff that creeps in and helps our opponents and stifles our team. I'm not happy clappy just know people normally react better when they get support.
I'd agree with that except for one instance. Sanchez got in a bit of a mess early on and the chance to pass forward went and he turned and passed to Lloris and there was a huge amount of moaning. And I thought "Jesus, poor lad, he's in his 20s, hasn't played for months and he has 60,000 on his case. That can't do him any good."
Which sort of underlines your point. Abusing players or moaning at them is so counter productive. Youd need some mental strength for that not to have an impact on you.
Not every game will be like last night. The opposition, a night game, high stakes. But it'd be great if we could have something someway similar for Burnley and beyond. Its got to help motivate the players.
Yes I think that’s a fair point. I was worried that the crowd would be negative after that but they weren’t. That said, the next time the ball came to him he hesitated and I’m sure that’s because he was thinking about crowd reaction. Goes to show that we really can influence the players bothBizarrely i thought that moment was the making of davo and the turning point of the game, the crowd seemed to realise that we had weathered their initial burst and we were taking control and really got behind the team.

Same with Royal and SessYes I think that’s a fair point. I was worried that the crowd would be negative after that but they weren’t. Positively and negatively.
Same with Royal and Sess
They start nervous because they can feel the tension IMO
The difference when we go one up with those players is massive
