hahaha, it's like everyone who shouldn't be in the team is getting injured until Roy FINALLY is forced to pick the players who should have gone in the first place.
Sorry but Carrick, Richards, and Lennon should have gone no question. Karma maybe that now the players who unfairly stood in their way are all getting injured.
To those saying respected managers must have some greater wisdom than the rest of us I don't see where you get that from. They're not super-geniuses who have an uncanny ability to see the unseen. Many of them got where they are through good networking as much as being a good manager, and they do stupid things all the time. I would argue that people on forums such as this gain a collective wisdom that is more often right than wrong. Plus I'm sure there are political "considerations" over who is picked for the English National team, as others have said I'm fairly certain that the manager is forced to pick certain players.
They don't view a football match as surgically as they are given credit for imo. I'm not afraid to say they're clueless when they do something blatantly stupid, which Woy has already done.
