is there any doubt about Mandzukic's second?? imv it had crossed the line before it went in off Given's head, so its definitely the Croats goal. Lee Dixon on MOTD thinks its a Given own goal...gooner mug

i think it was, and when the ball hit Given, his head was behind the line. Hope Mand gets the goal

1:56 is possibly the best angle.. though i'm still not 100% sure... But Given's head looks about the same as the line..
Edit: I'm not even sure the ball is going into the net if Given wasn't there..

it was, it hit the inside of the post and the angle sent the ball over the line. Given was diving backwards into the goal. His head was over the line, and so was the ball

To get such pace on the ball,with a man on him and such accuracy without even seeing the goal from 13 meters for me is a brilliant header.

in my opinion the ball hit the inside of the post and was on its way in via Given's head which was just inside the line when the ball hit it

Just taken that bet on betfair, the best I can see for England is 0-0 draw. Don't tend to bet against the team I support, 1st time actually, but at least I'll be relatively happy one way or the other tomorrow.
Enjoying the euros so far, it's shaping up quite nicely and I'm really getting in to the fantasy team, done the metro one, great format.
