And that Pogba tackle on Neves is the exact reason why players go down and roll around. If they don’t they don’t get a freekick.

Just realised our match against Palace is 12:30pm on the Sat. Chance to go 5 points clear !

Wolves going full Brighton today. Totally dominated United yet contrive to concede from what looked like a cross after a good shout a free kick.

I’d like to think if we did end up with Traore then his assist count would go through the roof!

Every single UK back page is about United, nothing on us going top
They were very lucky as usual, how the foul on Neves wasn't given which led to United goal is a total joke

I just sells newspapers remember there are loads of thick ManU fans lapping this OTT Ronaldo transfer claptrap, don't personally understand why anybody buys them with the internet around.

Even thought printed media has it problems it does give its user a wide view of the world or local issues. The internet caters for specific interest ie porn, cats, sport and egotist.

I read the guardian and telegraph online. Have to pay for the telegraph but it helps pass the time. Between the two I get a hood account of what is going on in the world.

I am on this forum a cycling forum and freetrade investment forum. My newsnow page is set to Tottenham, road cycling and theatre news.

I only buy a newspaper, the racing post the couple of times a year I go to Brighton races.

I can confidently claim you are in a tiny minority of internet users. As I was employed my entire working life in the printed media I will always have a love of the product despite its faults.

You ever walked up a train during rush hour? Lots of people on their phones reading online news. The bbc report increases in viewing of their news content online. National geographic etc do as much online as they sell in print. The future has happened.

You might like print news through nostalgia from your working life and a fear of what comes next in life(death) but the statistics are there. Print is dying.

But what people read is more limited on line. They only click on stories they are already interested in whereas with a physical paper people tend to scan all headlines and stories much more.

I'd agree with kddddsoc that the Internet caters for tighter, more specific opinions and outlooks. Everything becomes an echo chamber, even for the minority who think they maintain a broader, balanced view.
