The Official 2016/17 Premier League Thread

And Richard Keys needs to remember he's not in an episode of The Sweeney, guv'nor.

(Thinking about it that might really be his problem...)

they need to get rid of the rule that if the referee see's it there can be no retrospective action
Indeed! It shouldn't matter really. Additionally, you can stare right at a situation, and still not perceive everything. I didn't see the Aguero elbow until the 3rd time I saw it. It happens all the time. Then again, overruling officials all the time can have a negative effect.

It's also a logical absurdity. If the referee was watching the players and didn't see the elbow, then he didn't see the incident. Surely the elbow is the incident, not the part of the play where nothing happened.

City dominant and leading 2-0 at OT, their new keeper lets United back in it close to the break and suddenly looks shaky every time the ball comes near him. HT 1-2.

Frank Zlatta tries to pretend it didn't go in off him in an offside position, but the lino's having none of it. Score remains 1-2.

Silva, Otamendi, Fernandino brilliant in that match. Bravo had a stinker.

Utd......long........ball.......to .....Fellani.....that's about it.
