Watford 0 Chelsea 0. Decent outcome. Watford dont get a confidence boosting win before the weekend and Chelsea although stay unbeaten surely cant harbour any thoughts now of a Top 4 spot. 16pts gap. Would not mind them winning at the weekend though...

Certainly are, but at least they dont try and park the bus. Might suit us on Saturday, but wont be easy, hopefully Gomes has got his 'blinder' out of the way and turns in the other type of perfomance we know he is capable of.
He will get a good reception at the Lane.

Hope so. If we can win too, and our new friends on the South Coast do us another favour and not lose to West Ham we have an 8pts gap.
That's the minimum I would like to see us clear of 5th come April 1st. Then we really can dream of a CL spot and possibly more

IIRC, last time we played Watford they had just gotten a hard fought draw against Chelsea.

I think they'll dig it out and Norwich will go down actually. Either way I hope they don't need a season defining result when we play them.
I noticed Townsend spent a lot of time down the right again in this match (which I was only half watching to be fair). They really needed to play him down the left and have Mitrovic in the box.

Villa, Sunderland and ? Norwich/Toon/and another one another always gets dragged in.
I was only watching it with one eye myself. The other on Watford.
Townsend just does the same thing every time, surely he must as you say, play on the left.
McClaren does not fill me with any confidence.

This. I think there are 3 worse teams in the league than Saudi Sportswashing Machine, but it could all depend on whose Jan signings settle quicker Norwichs' or Newcastles'
