why do people want FDB
aside from winning the extremely poor league with the best team in it
a nice detailed break down of why people want FDB would be nice
what makes the Dutch league extremely poor?
there's 4 or 5 competitive teams at the top of the table, i can't think of many leagues which can boast that. Ajax came off the back of a 7 year baron spell to win the most consecutive titles in their history under FdB, whilst selling their star players and relying on home grown talent coming through to replace them - they were far from favorites in two of those seasons at least. It just seems rather naive/ignorant to pass off winning titles in The Netherlands as no big deal - im no expert but you only have to look below the surface to see it's not quite the easy task as it's supposed to be.
there have been times when Ajax were the best side in Europe yet still couldn't dominate like they have done under FdB - at a time when their academy were producing some of the best players in the world

The dutch league is poor. Are you saying otherwise? Are you saying that the dutch league is a strong force to be feared and reckoned with? because their champions walk out on the pitch against 2nd and 3rd and 4th best teams from other countries and those teams think "Shiiiiiiiiiit man, that's AJAX". No , i'm pretty sure that these days when teams see ajax they are pencilling in a good shout for at least a point
There are probably 3 teams that are competitive in a 3rd world country...i wouldnt classify that as being a yard stick measurement of a strong league.
And ajax is the most recognised and most resourceful team in Holland , period. everyone else plays catch up..the reason they sell their star players is because that is their model , they have ALWAYS done that..the dutch league is a league that exports talent significantly more than it imports / purchases it...and the reason they can do this and still maintain their level ? its because that league is poor and all the best young players are cherry picked by the best and most resourceful club in the country

But the competitiveness of a league has got nothing to do with the quality of the league. Do you really not see that?
Who is the better manager? The guy who leads Barcelona to title in Spain (in a league with three likely champions - usually two!) Or the guy who leads Ajax to the title in a league where 6 or 7 teams are roughly the same quality?
But Rossi is asking what quotes do you require for it to be authentic for you? Journos get inside info from sources, who arent named for obvious reasons. The odds on getting a quote from Levy saying 'Im waiting for Carlo' are pretty slim....
Does an article need quotes for it to be true?
So, what three managers would you want african?
