That michu fella at swansea looks bloody good and i believe he was on a free avb comes from over that way(country next door) so i am hopefull we will start getting players cheaper and ones maybe we have not heard off.

Also read somewhere that redknapp was recommended cabaye and the other fella at Saudi Sportswashing Machine but decided not to go for it. We need to show a bit more courage and go for some players who have shown it in other countries as well as having more courage to promote our youngsters.

If after a year or so the youngsters do not look like finding their feet you get rid, and if after a season or so the foreign wants show no promise you get rid, will be easier if they are cheaper then the likes of bentley 16m.
 
I didn't think he was on a free for Swansea, came for about 3m unless I'm mistaken, still can't believe they didn't have any competition in getting him, wasn't he third highest scorer in la liga? Absolute bargain, and getting De Guzman from Villarreal was a very good move as well.

I also think we need to take a few more punts on these kind of players rather than aging big fishes in small ponds ie Pienaar and Dempsey.

I dont think Bale will go in the summer, even if he wanted to, Levy wouldnt let it happen.

And even if we did lose him, We have a like-for-like LW in Dempsey right? ...

That's because they were spending more than 100% of their turnover on wages and their owner decided they should start to spend within their means.
