The Cricket Thread

Yeah they did, Eden Gardens 2001. VVS got 281 and I think Dravid got a ton and they won after following on.

Read an article that we (Aussies) only have 1 player in top 30 ICC batsmen. Compared to not that long ago when we had 5 in the top 11. You should annihilate us.

Ton for Rutherford, great innings on debut. Got to admire that.

Love those grounds where there aren't proper stands and you can just sit on the grass. Need to watch a test at one of them sometime, think some parts of the ones in SA and WIs are like that as well.

Cook the run machine does it again, 6th hundred in 7 tests as captain, 24 test hundreds now and fantastic batting from Compton too, 240/1 ish at the close only 50 behind

It's about time. Something had to give. Apart from Clarke, none of the Aussie players are fit to wear the cap at the moment, yet they all take their spot as some divine right.

Watson especially has been given so much time when you consider he makes Darren Anderton look like Superman.

I'd still rate the likes of Ponting and Watson as good run scorers over an Ashes series. Dropping these guys is playing into England's hands big time.

Compton with 2 hundreds in a week, he played very well as did Trott

267/2 very strong position after having been put in

Indian 262/0 off 50 overs

Dharwan with fastest ever test century on debut, he is on 170 no at moment, its brill to watch them being ground into the dirt

Loving watching the Aussies get frustrated and getting overly aggressive while fielding. Plus ludicrous appeals for LBW when the ball would have missed leg by about 2 foot hahahah.

Still at it this morning as well, appealing for anything that goes past the stumps or hits the pad. Mind you sub continent teams also do that a lot, you get those spells where they appeal for anything every ball even when it goes for runs.

Even though this test will be over in 3 days its still a good contest, shame Tendulkar flopped, may retire now.

Gutted for them !!!!

India survived a late wobble to chase down a target of 155 and complete a 4-0 Test series whitewash over Australia in Delhi.
