If Richarlison is still injured, does that just not mean he's been a bit better than Veliz?
Veliz, Scarlett and possibly Son depending on your stance on his position

They could maybe even play together in the right formation - Veliz as the target man, Lankshear as the finisher, though i know both are good at doing the other part too. A nice problem to have.Lankshear scored a hatful last season in youth teams while Veliz was injured/getting splinters from bench in Spain, Lankshear arguably knows our system better (would have trained in/around first team last year like Moore and a couple others)
I'd expect in first few games he looks better, up to Veliz to step up, good for both of them to be fighting for something. Looks like Scarlett is the odd man out ..
Just give him the gig.

Certainly looks physically capable of holding his own in that shot.
He is hugeCertainly looks physically capable of holding his own in that shot.
I haven’t watched him closely the past two years, but the worry coming from youth football is how ready they are to adapt to the physicality of the league.
Seconded. I think we need to give the young players their chance this season. I’d rather watch them develop than buy some second-rate players at 11.55pm on deadline day who will most likely underwhelm and frustrate.Just give him the gig.
Always remember Rashford was not particularly rated and took his chances.Seconded. I think we need to give the young players their chance this season. I’d rather watch them develop than buy some second-rate players at 11.55pm on deadline day who will most likely underwhelm and frustrate.
It kind of happened before with KingJust imagine - a year after cashing in on Harry Kane, his successor steps up and scores his debut goal. No pressure.
Thelwell? It kind of happened before with King
Lankshear-erDidn't realise lankshear also played for the u21s during the week. Against enfield senior side. Scored 2.
Hope he keeps this up.
As long as this isn't a comment about the other players rather than his actual ability, (it's Ali Gold so it absolutely isn't, my tongue is firmly in my cheek) then we may have a winner here.Certainly looks physically capable of holding his own in that shot.

I remember him! Looked phenomenal, played in a few games and then disappeared completely!Federico Macheda

You can’t teach that right place part imoI believe he's a goal scorer, they'll be better players than him but he has that wonderful gift of being in the right place and the ability to finish.

You can coach players to get better at it but he has the natural ability
