The Academy, NextGen, U18 & U21 Premier League and On-Loan Thread

Looking good for United. This will be a great test for our U21's previous 2 games v United were at Altrincham and Salford. Certainly wont do them any harm stepping out at Old Trafford, although it massively favours Man U, it could be a cracking final
 
It wasn't drawn at all it was always the winner of the 2/3 semi having the home game in the final. which nobody can understand

It means the lads, who won both National Group Two and Elite Group in the first two phases of the new competition, will get the chance to win the overall title against either Manchester United or Liverpool, who play on Tuesday night.

The final was drawn as an away match for us and the date is to be confirmed.

Somebody needs to let the club know then, this is from the Club website

Our U21s play some very very good football. Ceballos was by far the best player on the pitch going by those highlights, just seems a class above everyone his level.

everytime ive seen him he looks class, should have done with his creativity in the 1st team at times this season

Going by those highlights Carroll was also impressive, winning tackles and spraying tasty passes all about like the one that led to Pritchard's goal.

Looked like Ceballos should have won a pen second half when he was blatantly brought down in the box having got past his man with a nifty step-over.
 
Think our first team could learn a thing or two from our U21s. They play some great stuff and do one thing well which the grown-ups dont - they MOVE!!!!
