+9 points is kind of ridiculous considering our starting position from last season...

Is the Everton score correct? They finished 11th last season, have picked up 8 points more so far this season compared to last season and still find themselves 11th?

The comparison is vs teams, not gameweek. Compare ours and you see we have +9 compared to teams faced, but only +7 in terms of the same gameweek last year.

You need to add some headings so people can interpret what these 3 tables mean each week

Yeah I don't actually understand them. I'm assuming it's a prediction of our final position if our form is the same as last year?

I know. And that improvement from last season is kind of ridiculous given our starting position (the amount of points we picked up against those teams last season).

I think this is what the tables show:

Opponent - opponent by matchday this season
H/A - home or away
Result - result by matchday this season
14/15 - result in equivalent match last season (against same opponent, home or away)
Diff - difference compare to equivalent match-up last season

e.g. on the first matchday this season we lost 1-0 at OT; last season we lost 3-0 at OT so the points difference is zero.

So far we are nine points better off than last season in equivalent matches. If we finish the season with the same results as last season against the remaining opponents we finish 9 points better off on 73pts (the prediction in the Cann table underneath).

Opponent - opponent by matchday last season
H/A - home or away
Result - result by matchday last season
Diff - difference compared to same matchday last season

e.g. on the first matchday last season we beat West Ham 1-0, so this season, after the loss to Man Utd, we were 3 points worse off after the first matchday.

And that I think shows the relevance to last years form to this years, none.
There is no way Arsenal are going to take 25 points from 27

They really ought to take 15 at home and then it's not far off the 23 they need to match last season.
