Ineffectiveness is much more of a problem. Even Son is quite unpredictable and in a positive way because he is largely effective.
 
Didn’t think he was that bad personally. Seemed to play within himself, a more controlled game. Made a lot of forward passes and some driving runs but of course some of them didn’t come off.

There were some good defensive contributions too. Plus he survived the 4 substitution culling in the 2nd half . I hope he gets more chances.
 
he has got some goals and at least shows signs of being a player if someone can work out how to use him best. for 44m im starting to think the ever injured and 1 goal in a season Lo Celso is the biggest waste of money we spent.
 
I’ve had enough of Ndombele to be honest. If he never plays for us again, I won’t lose a wink of sleep. Has all the talent in the world but he’s had over 2 years now and, brief flashes aside, he’s been dreadful.

Breaks my heart but I’m writing him off.

He always plays "within himself".
That's his call - but "himself" doesn't deserve to be "within the team".
He's wasting air someone else could use. Put a kid in - at least they would try.
I don't give a brick how "talented" you are, if you don't affect the game for the team, fudge off

Yes, its hard to see how he has a future. Last night was another instance where the game looked far too fast for him. He can obviously do amazing things with the ball, but you have to carry him...and I'm not sure many players in the modern game are like that or good enough for that apart from perhaps Messi. Ndombele certainly isnt and it doesnt look like he's any fitter than before

I'm rather take a 50% loss on him and get someone in who can contribute more consistently

He couldn't run it with Dele and Gil in front of him. I wouldn't blame him for that. Second half he was better. I think if we hadn't removed him we would have had better.

Considering he is our record signing how many man of the match performances has he delivered? I think it is a sad cop out to blame Tanguy's underperformance on Dele and Gil. We were playing Mura not fcuking Bayern Munich.

You talk as if Ndombele always delivers when he starts in a full strength team, when that is patiently not the case. I have defended Ndombele consistently since he signed for us because of the talent I know he has but he is the one failing to apply himself.

If Conte wants him that is fine with me, but anyone Conte wants rid, January works for me
 
I honestly don't get why he gets so much hate! He was one of the better players yesterday, if not the best, and he gets treated like he was the worst. I just don't get it! If anyone showed some will to win, and try to do something, it was him. What do people expect? Is he supposed to win every game he plays totally by himself?
