What do people know about Rui Patricio? Seemed decent in the euro's. Good positioning and his distribution looked fairly decent, couple of times his goal kicks did go out of play but seemed comfortable taking backpasses etc under a bit of pressure.

Only 24 and has played 135 league games for Sporting.

Could be someone AVB goes for.

Undoubtedly Spurs.

Yeah but they were winning the league undefeated in 2003!

We were a long way behind and £80 million is what we needed to spend to try and close the gap.

Maintaining is far easier than trying to close a gap.

Llorente is not remotely possible, without blowing our entire transfer budget and wage structure IMO

As you understand it, has he already signed for Spurs?

Or is it just that he's decided to sign for Spurs?

If the latter, it's still just possible that Liverpool could come in with a last minute offer that beats ours.
