Maybe he is upgradeable, or replaceable. But this is YET ANOTHER position we need to sort out when it's already sorted. Let's not create more holes in our squad. Let's fix our problems, then if there's time and money we'll look to improve on other areas.
Personally I don't think we can improve or even replace VDV so I'd be gutted.
Really want this whole manager situation sorted out. it's not healthy. Sack him, give him a contract and let's plan.

Wishful thinking but if VDV was to go, maybe Dos Santos could come out of the shadows.....
Upgradeable?!?!? Who are we going to sign? Ronaldo? Schneider? Some people need a reality check when it comes to the sort of players who they think we can attract
or, more likely, GDS would be an abject failure like he has been in the rest of this time at Spurs, Barca and most of the time when out on loan

He's never really been given a chance at Spurs in his favoured no 10 role where he plays for Mexico - I'd at least like to see him given a decent run out there before we wrote him off. Anyway like I said, wishful thinking....
If he did go Christian Eriksen would be a replacement I think we could attract in a BOGOF deal with Verts.

His is a CF, just plays in a withdrawn role, similar to say Bergkamp. Add up the goals rafa scores and creates and he is well worth his place
You need to earn your chance. Giving him a 'decent run' would most likely result in us dropping points
