I thought it would be too. But at the same time I think many are overselling the success of that formation off of a single performance against a PSG team that were quite obviously half baked.

There were doubtlessly very specific tactical reasons why Frank wanted 3 at the back against them and the players executed it well, but that doesn't then compute to playing that same formation against every good side....

Spot on. And even if it doesn't work that doesn't mean a back 3 would have worked better. They're a fantastic team.

A lot of hard work in that midfield 3, like against PSG. Kudus and Richarlison key, as against PSG.

Looking forward to this, hopefully it will be good.

Really like how Richie and Kudus worked together against PSG, need Kudus, Sarr, Johnson getting close to Richi for that to work. The kind of thing I expect Frank to get right. Playing long is fine, but need a plan to make it work.
