Think it's partly physical. He seems to be saving himself for most of the match, but as a result he's easy to mark.

Modric did have a great last season, but that was the exception not the rule for forcing players to stay. I wanted Kane sold, would have taken 110m or whatever that offer was. We needed a fresh start. With a more focused striker, trying to prove himself, we might have won today and have more points this season. So much of our attacking play is fudged by him these days. It’s not just the dried up goals.

Not as many. I thought we had a slight edge certainly in the first half. They keep things very tight and congested in midfield. We lacked some composure and a finish. It was a close game.

100m for an aging injury prone striker who felt he had given his last season does not sound bad to me.

I think we have to think more about what was good for us, not what the market is. An ongoing issue with Levy. We would have got some decent players and a striker in with the money.

He was fudging dogbrick but I think the chasing back the length of the pitch will earn him some kudos because it showed that he cared. I don't believe Harry isn't trying but watching him today, it's hard for me to stand over that opinion.
Everything was too slow, taking 4 and 5 touches just to pass the ball back to where it came from.
Son, Kane and Moura were poor, but the amount of time WH had to get their players back into position and packed the box and just in front and not allow them any space.
No width to try and stretch them, Royal didn't get forward at all to offer an option. When we did try to use Reguillon the majority of the balls sailed about 10 feet over his head.
Didn't understand the subs either when they were finally made. Tanguy is about the only player we had that could make a final pass but Nuno takes him off instead of PEH when we need a goal.
Gil for Moura would've made more sense too and try and get a little bit of width down the right.

Well a lot of us thought Grealish was brilliant and has proved so. I am not being wise after the fact I have called for us to sell kane the last two summers and reinvest for the future.
