*** Spurs v Liverpool OMT ***

Just watching the bits back. Klopp not being sent off is the clearest illustration you need that refs have a fear factor of him/Liverpool, which is shown with the Jota red/Rich pen. They are sh!t scared to give anything meaningful against them.

Is celebrating at the officials a red card offense? What rule did he break exactly? Was a bit of a dingdong move but he wasn't abusive of officials etc

We need to be in that company, enough with the nice guy choir boys brick. We've got little to lose, as we're still being dragged through the mud (i.e. the Kane incident which regularly flies in other teams) if there's anything, and quietly being escorted to our room when the liquor is set on the table.

I’d like to think the FA have something in writing that protects grass roots referees/officials from Managers running up and screaming in their faces.

In any game right now. Palace looked good going forward yesterday, granted it was only West Ham but they tore them apart at times.

We could go Porro and Perisic but we'll need to score a few goals to win lol

as much as I think Porro is a weak link defensively
If Romero does his basics better, Porro can do the stuff he is better at

Most def, better side second half, the fight back was actually something to enjoy, Richy getting that goal...
or Richy
Dominating second half, apart from the goal Liverpool hardly had a shot on target did they? We only need to arrive at the stadium, drink coffee and start the warmup an hour earlier, and we'd be sorted. BUT it shows more than anything that you need to have FA on your side to win anything. VAR is a complete and utter failure, and only emphasizes the bias while offering excuses for favouritism to fit the narrative. I can't remember what game, but the "favourites" had a VAR review, where the line was placed at the attacker's foot while 98% of the rest of the body was over. Other teams have the line placed at the front of the attacker's aura, or the closest fan in the stands. I'm sick of it, and if not for Spurs I would have stopped following the game altogether. How VAR can ignore both the foul (tbf it's a cheap one, but regularly given to "favourites") and the dangerous high kick is inexcusable. Let's tear a page from Fergie's book and hang both the refs and FA out to dry in the media, and take the punishment on the chin.

VAR is corrupt..simple as.I think there is only one official making the decision and thats wrong.

The rules are funny....theyll spot/judge after a replay if a player has gone studs up on someone's ankle/shin and give a red but if someone goes studs first into someone's head/face, which is easier to judge even without the replay, and surely a more consequential part of the body to inflict damage to....that's just a yellow. Joke.

I don't even think Skipp had ducked into it more than shoulder height.

Making out that as a red is a pretty wet take imo. It's not appropriate, not a good example, I totally get that but a straight red for celebrating?

Interesting seeing Klopp's take on it. Surprisingly didn't bring up the Jota / Skipp high boot incident ;)

Waiting for the ref's association apology, and all other fans of other clubs talking about how it's a conspiracy to make sure Pool get 4th ..

oh, right ..

How he doesn’t understand that players will target his side full stop i don’t get
He is a weak link defensively
well its obvious someone will follow up down that left side aspecially with an incoming cross ...all he had to do was look behind him! he didnt even bother to look!!!
then off course there's Romero,s blunder tackle..he's prone to do this a lot..but in the penalty area..

In the mid-half there was a floated cross from Perisic which Van Dijk duck-headed clear (lacking a better word) while our player pulled back. If h'd gone for it and hit VD he would be off in a heartbeat without VAR even needing to check. And VD's head was much lower and in a natural height than Skipp's. As mentioned, completely inexcusable.

People need to stop whinging at klopp, the referee, conspiracy’s and any other crap you can think of.

One person is to blame for what happened and he is called lucas moura.

A disgraceful bellend who did the same at everton.

Or does he get a free pass for Ajax away? We didn’t even go on to win the final so fudge him.

Mason speaks so well. I love the bloke. He needs a very big role, no matter who comes in.

Would taking charge of the u21's be a good option?

Let him show what he can do over a longer period as manager, or should we try and keep him involved in the first team
