**** Sporting Clube de Portugal v Tottenham Hotspur FC ****

Yeah, that was crap.

Son needs to be benched for Kulu. Kane was poor too, but at least he can be a goal threat, which Son is so far from being ATM.

Our passing was woeful and wasteful. Lots of poor decision making. We were stretched and moatly easy to defend against. No tempo to speak of, and our intensity did not travel to Portugal.

Very disappointing overall. It could've been ok had we snatched the draw, but when we mess up defensively as well, there's not much left to shout about.

Maybe a little knee jerkish, but that was thoroughly unenjoyable from a Spurs point of view.
 
That is on Conte and it's been coming for weeks. We seem to start building up a head of steam in games and then reverting to the low block kills it and I don't know what the answer is because Conte isn't going to change that.
We've been awful all season in reality, it's so so boring and the players can't be enjoying it.

'No tempo to speak of' has been a problem all season and that is why the passing is off, we never look fluid and I don't see us smashing a team at any point this season.
 
Poor. We're a bit unbalanced with Kane and Richy, should really rest Kane instead imo.

Only positive is that it's a good wake up call for us and prob the best match for it to happen in.
 
What is with Harry at the moment? The poor touches / passes are one thing, but the way he didn’t attack Perisic’s brilliant cross across the goalmouth? Just weird.
 
Just watched the corner again.
Hojbjerg, Kane and Royal all at the front post and not one of them in front of the two Sporting players, one who flicked it into the net.
Hojbjerg actually walks away when the corner comes in!
 
Oh well, our unbeaten run had to end sometime. Means I can change the screaming badger now.

There is something not right this season, it's not just Son and Kane. We seem to be trying to pace ourselves better but get let down by bad passing and decision making. Maybe we miss Skipps urgency.

Anything resembling explosive is way beyond him. He can't even jump anymore.
