I have a degree in politics and not even I get involved in political debates sometimes.
Everything is mainly said out of spite whether it's a debate on political ideology, the elections, the party or in this case sectarianism. Also some of the defence mechanisms become like a broken record, this pathetic towing the line or all out attack in an attempt to not contradict yourself gets people nowhere, for crying out even Karl Marx stated in On The Jewish Question that communism wouldn't work although he did put that down to human nature.

However, as you well know, we have to tolerate and understand some individuals more than others when they wish to spread the word because, after all, they are so tolerant and understanding themselves aren't they.
Yes it does seem an unlevel playing field at times doesn't it? Still that's 2014 PC England I guess!
