We have some players that put a lot of effort in, but are not of a high enough standard, and we have other players who are of a high enough standard who don't put enough effort in. We also have a few who are not of a high enough standard and don't put enough effort in either.

And we have Hugo, who probably cries himself to sleep after every game.

We are currently going into matches without a central midfield. If you do that you will lose. We have to go into games with a central midfield.

I know our defenders are rubbish, our attackers can't score - but if we had a central midfield it would help at both ends of the park.

That would be my priority. That we go into matches without a central midfield absolutely astonishes me.

It's true. Mason tries but we do not impose in midfield one bit. I saw Alex Song last week for West Ham - then I saw Capoue for us.....incomparable.

Sign a CB to partner Verts and a proper DM and then things will look a lot better. No manager could achieve anything when 3 of his 4 CB options are Kaboul, Fazio and Chiriches and also when he has Capoue as his first choice DM!!!
