Of the strikers I listed above as possibilities for us in the summer of 2012...

'I agree with the first one; Llorente, Soldado, Remy, Huntelaar, Lewandowski, Lavezzi, Rossi....those are, I think, near the upper limit of what we can get. Cavani, Gomez, Dzeko et al are out of our reach. If we are going for strikers, I'd also like us to have a look at Goran Pandev, Abel Hernandez and Seydou Doumbia- very good players and eminently acquirable.'

....we got precisely none that summer. We got Clint Dempsey!

Should have just made peace with our transfer policy then instead of spending half a decade getting increasingly angry that Poch was performing miracles and getting dogbrick in the market. :p

Did he elaborate what kind of specialist? Some believe lemons and auras can help in difficult times :)
