Serious relegation fears

Arsenal fans talking about the title race:

United fans:

We have zero chance of catching the others. We have an outside chance of catching Spurs.

That's..an outside chance of catching Spurs.
F'ck me!

good run/Tottenham bottle job.

Spurs' fixture list for the rest of the season is bad....if we can find some form - we can catch them.

I can easily see Spurs dropping points in 7-8 of these matches.

We already know how the Leicester faithful feel.

The City fans are surprisingly worried about our match, but that's more down to their own failings.

Looking at the fixture lists I'm not sure there's much difference between the teams...

We have played 11 games against the current top half teams so far. Of the current top 5 City have played 13, Leicester 12, United and Arsenal 11.

We have played 7 games against the current top third of teams. United and Arsenal at 7 with us. Leicester and City at 8.

Arsenals away games are horrendous and they have struggle away All season

They won yesterday but should have been playing with 10 men before taking the lead

They can turn it on but they can also simply not turn up and that's been shown this season

Will be a a very tight top of the Table at the end and in glad the United result went our way as that's a bit of a buffer

The three away games we have....west ham, chelski and liverpool...plus the goons ,this is our beechers brooke, jump or fall.....see where we are at the elbow then!!.

Arsenal have only won two games of the last 6, against Bournemouth (15th) and Saudi Sportswashing Machine (17th) for a team with their aspirations they should be winning more games. There away form is the same, this time only beating Bournemouth and Villa.

We play three of the six remaining top half sides in our next four games.

Good way to describe it. I know our April is tough, but staying there or thereabouts where we want to be for those next 4 games will be important.

How many games has it been since Poch said that if we're still in the same position "in 10 games" we could start talking about the title or words to that effect?

City's record against the top six teams!
Hopefully that trend continues this weekend. What a key match that will be.

I see that City's remaining away fixtures are mostly against teams at the bottom, which should help them I guess. The opposite is true of Arsenal who have to play most of the top 6 away still.

You have to say if Arsenal manage to pull the title out of their arses, they will have deserved it. Winning those games will require a massive departure from their traditional bottle-job mentality.

I am slightly worried that us, City and the scum will all take points off each other, leaving Leicester to walk to the title...

We need to beat Utd @ home, Pikies Away and Liverpool Away to go from a 2nd/3rd place finish to anything more than that. That's the difference between a superb season and truly catching Leicester.

Will be interesting to see whether Leicester can beat all the teams that are struggling at the bottom that they still have to play, that requires a different mentality to always being the underdogs.

Just did a predictor for the rest of the season. I get:
Emirates Marketing Project 79pts
Spurs 77
Arse 77
Leicester 71
Man U 66
Everton 65
Chelsea 65
Wham 62
Liverplol 58

Probably been a bit generous with Chelsea results. Was also pretty realistic with our results with a couple losses and draws. I'm predicting Leicester to stumble through the easier patch against the likes of Saudi Sportswashing Machine and and Swansea.

For first time since 1984-85 (Everton & Tottenham), top two does not feature Arsenal, City, Utd, Liverpool or Chelsea with 13 to play.

Emirates Marketing Project haven't won back to back league games since October 17th (GW9). Ridiculous levels of inconsistency and certainly not worthy of being crowned Champions. Funnily enough though, they haven't gone more than one game without a win in even longer, since 26th September (GW7), which is a bad omen for us given that we'll be playing them after a defeat.

But having said THAT - the last team to beat them after they'd dropped points in the previous game, was none other than...

Are you saying that we need to win all our games?!?!? I don't see that those three are much different to others, apart from taking points of Manure

All the comments about our run-in are somewhat premature given that we each have 13 games to so - ie will all still have to play roughly 75% of the league! We just need to make sure we don't have a rocky patch over coming weeks

Plus as I've said many times recently, our last 5 games are mainly against teams which will be safe by the time we play them but unlikely to be able to challenge for European spots. So they will be somewhat off the pace even if they're being completely professional (and some players will be avoiding injury ahead of the Euros), whereas we should be 100% up for it.

City next, could be absolutely massive if we beat them. We'd be 4 points ahead of them and could give us belief.

Arsenal v Leicester on Sunday too, think I want a draw, would give us the opportunity to gain 2 points on both of them

I think what I'm trying to say is one game at a time lads.

Im saying i hate all those clubs lets smash em.

However we pick up enough points to reach whatever target it is we're talking about I don't care which clubs we beat and which clubs we don't beat.

Agree with one game at the time. Would be a really bad idea to play them all at the same time ;)
