Except it does pay for itself and moreDon't forget Levy likes to turn all the power off for 4 hours a day to save money
The Karting and NFL, new climbing wall doesn't pay for itself !!
Or like the Kudus one that was noisy, quiet for a fortnight, then happenedIs it me, but this one is feeling like the MGW commentary from the media.
By that comment, I mean that Spurs had moved on but the press still wanted to keep the MGW story open. Is it perhaps the case that Spurs WERE interested in Sav but when the door shut they moved on? That would have been 2 weeks ago in their world.
I think we have stepped back the absolute must is a 10, we need to get one inIs it me, but this one is feeling like the MGW commentary from the media.

Might take more of the budget.

Apparently we're preparing a new bid of £69.2m
Why are we preparing a bid, it's not a fudging cake
Because it takes time
Financing needs to structured for a start
I think it’s more important to get it rightWe’ve only known about the Kulu injury for a few months, and the Maddison one for just over a fortnight.
It’s important not to rush these things.
Have you forgotten about Tel?You say that...but Sarr is playing quite like MGW. Not the most creative, but hard working, and actually quite effective in the number 10 role. I personally think Sarr will also score more than MGW does.
What we don't have is back-up and rotation for Sarr.
For me LW is more of an issue. We will get Kulu back at some point, and then Maddison too. If Kulu is back by November we maybe okay. What is lacking is LW. Son hasn't been replaced.
Johnson can do a job there. If he scores frequently getting on the end of Kudus crosses it can work. Especially if Johnson also starts to cut inside and shoot and score off his right foot. Johnson is written off time and again. And he keeps coming up with the goals.
That said I'd like someone to stretch the game on the left, and it is a bit of an unknown Johnson and Odobert playing there. They could both come good or underwelm.
Have you forgotten about Tel?
It's annoying that Tel and Odobert seem a year or two off being the real deal, so we have a LOT of money tied up there, plus Moore coming through... mostly I'm thankful that we finally got rid of Werner, that was a lead weight dragging us down, and we also got money for Sonny which is good as he had gone off the boil... but I'm confused whether we really spent all that money on Tel for him to NOT start?Yes we are not really short of bodies. Just CL quality, proven attackers. Tel, Odobert have it all to prove. And need to develop. We have to be patient with them. Idk what Tels best position is. Or really what his best role is. He might make a great forward one day. Odobert looks perfect for the wing, at the moment as a sub and rotation option. So we could do with someone to fill that left sided berth. Imo.

You've obviously never seen my posts because I'm one of Odobert's biggest backers on this forum, that doesn't change the obvious point that he's nowhere near Savio currently and might never get to that level.Odobert hasn’t been given a chance, he has shown signs of a good player. We can’t all be super scouts like you. Pep rotates his players and gives youngsters a chance, if Odobert was at City i’m sure he would do well. I would much rather give Odobert a run of games than spend £70m on a step over merchant.
How can you disregard Odobert if he hasn’t had a run of games? Tel got 7 goals and 5 assists in the league for Bayern the season before last but he can’t get a run in our team. Its your opinion over mine, i have watched Savinho enough to know he isn’t a £70m player but you carry on with your Dads bigger than mine argument like we are in a school playground.
You have "sources" who have told you Frank didn't really want Eze, surely you'd be able to find out if we're in for Savinho?
In fairness that came from me, and what I had been told earlier in the window when I asked around was that he wasn't sure about his off the ball rate. I then heard he had come around to the idea. I understand the hesitency to believe anything these days TBF...I will add that if you see Ally Gold's piece from yesterday, he effectively supports that notion.
But the truth is that unless I were in Thomas' shoes, or Levy's for that matter, it's all 'expressions' from whomever we know, and thus is immediately inaccurate because it isn't from them!
