Sessegnon must be one of our most disappointing signings ever ! We had tried to sign him for so long in a typical Levy fashion. So, was really excited when we managed to sign him. Thought he would impress for us instantly but instead he was poor every time he played for us. He is still young at 20. But with him now out on loan in Germany now, not sure if he has any future at Spurs.
I agree and think the PL being a big step up showed massively in his season with Fulham. Fair enough to hope that he would make a quick impact. One could hope that moving from a dysfunctional Fulham to us would help him, but then we ended up being highly dysfunctional too. Then injuries and a change of manager. There's loads of time for him to come good, I think he found the PL a massive step up in quality then he got injured in his 1st season with us. Hopefully he gets a good amount of minutes this season and is ready to fight for a place next season.
Eriksen eat your heart out.Sessegnon's write up on the Bundesliga website for his last game for Hoffenheim
"81 individual ball possessions, which is the highest amount of any player in the game. Furthermore, he had 25 tackle challenges in the last match. Of these, the player with the shirt number 17 was able to win 16 – no other player in his club was as successful. He covered a distance of 11.6 km during his total playing time in this game. In doing so, he ran, like no other player in the game, a total of 39 sprints"
...from whence came GylfiSessegnon's ... Hoffenheim
Good. Good. Let the confidence flow through you....
You’re right, I let an autocorrect error through.I said the same thing to the wife last night.
Except I dont call it confidence.
He seems to be doing well, the guy has talent for sure and lets hope he is back here next season to show it.
