Ryan Sessegnon

Wow some pretty harsh criticism for a young kid trying to break into our first team.

Not his fault in the slightest, he is never going to be a left back in the EPL. Fulham pushed him up on the flanks for most of his footballing career!
Jose looks like he has been in a broom cupboard for the past 18 month!

Looked better tonight but this boy really needs to toughen up because he has bags of talent and he belongs at this level.

He looked a little better last night with a more confidence to run with the ball, early days but lets hope Jose sticks with him.

Am sure he will, not least because he's English and we need to spend all the money which we have (and more!) in other positions. There's also the added advantage that Jose doesnt need to throw him completely into the deep end given that we have other players in the positions where he plays. Sessegnon can easily get 25-30 games next year by playing domestic cup games, a handful of PL games and perhaps the CL group games. Has plenty of time on his side

Who's our sports psychologist? I think we need a better one.j

Can’t recall another top team with such a weak mentality. Eriksen said this week that the players were still upset about the CL final when the season started. I can empathise to an extent but part of just thinks get the feck over it. Teams get close and lose finals all the time. The good ones come back stronger for it. Two classic examples are Bayern who lost the CL in their own frickin stadium, on penalties! When does that ever happen? They came back the next season and not only won the CL in emphatic fashion, smashing Barca 7-0 on aggregate in the process but won the treble.

The other more recent example is of course everyone’s favourites on here, Liverpool who of course won the CL and got a points total that would have won the league every other year besides the last two.

The Daily fail: He was caught on his right leg by a late challenge from Ryan Sessegnon

The only one who was late in that challenge, was Ward Prowse!
