Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

I think De Zerbi has to throw his lot in with Xavi at this point. He has to pump this guy up, tell him he's the man, and direct as much traffic as possible through him. Quick passes into him. Fast, snappy recoveries if we lose the ball. Get Tel and Xavi as close together as possible in positions behind the CF. Play Spence on the right. If we keep doing what we're doing we're pretty certain to down. Romero's injury changes what we can do from the back. It's time to roll the dare is to do dice and work on the confidence of the few players who CAN create...

Xavi should be one of the first names in the team for me, he has not reached his best yet but for me he is the only real player we have at the moment who could/can show a piece of magic during games.

Lets hope for something more than the disappearing act
Is that what you see in him? (Well ignoring that you can’t see him if he’s disappearing).
I think he’s the only player we have who actually tries to make something happen out of nothing.
Not saying he’s ripping up trees or anything but I’d rather see him starting than not.

Too many judge him on the not physical enough and he looks like he's about to cry nonsense.

It was a joke more than anything.

I'd like to see him starting games too, as it would likely mean he's shown the manager enough to be worthy a starting place - it's very concerning to me that despite our attacking woes our big money AM signing finds himself out of the line up so often.
