Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

I think De Zerbi has to throw his lot in with Xavi at this point. He has to pump this guy up, tell him he's the man, and direct as much traffic as possible through him. Quick passes into him. Fast, snappy recoveries if we lose the ball. Get Tel and Xavi as close together as possible in positions behind the CF. Play Spence on the right. If we keep doing what we're doing we're pretty certain to down. Romero's injury changes what we can do from the back. It's time to roll the dare is to do dice and work on the confidence of the few players who CAN create...

Xavi should be one of the first names in the team for me, he has not reached his best yet but for me he is the only real player we have at the moment who could/can show a piece of magic during games.

Lets hope for something more than the disappearing act
Is that what you see in him? (Well ignoring that you can’t see him if he’s disappearing).
I think he’s the only player we have who actually tries to make something happen out of nothing.
Not saying he’s ripping up trees or anything but I’d rather see him starting than not.

Too many judge him on the not physical enough and he looks like he's about to cry nonsense.

It was a joke more than anything.

I'd like to see him starting games too, as it would likely mean he's shown the manager enough to be worthy a starting place - it's very concerning to me that despite our attacking woes our big money AM signing finds himself out of the line up so often.

That does not fit the agenda of some mate.
Even now, on the brink of relegation, after finishing 17th last season and breaking negative records by the hour in a historically bad streak, you pull that "some fans" "bad fans" cr*p. What is it us "bad fans" can't see in this stahlwart of a captain that you "best fans" so obviously understand? Of course he's not solely to blame and not a single bad fan has ever said so, but he has played a not insignificant part in our downfall as our defensive organizer and leader on the pitch for almost 2 seasons. Any other leader in any other business, who's not closely related to or sh*gging the owner, or perhaps both for all I care, would have been out on his or her arse by now regardless of whether deserved or not. Are we not allowed to voice opinions about what he could've done in place of what he did when it matters the most, without having an agenda of hating both the club and players?

If he was the player and leader and important parts of the squad were, which will come good after just a few more seasons to adapt or "some fans" cannot see the obvious value of, on the level we "bad fans" have dared at times to cautiously imply they're not, maybe we wouldn't have been so consistently sh*t and gone through 4 managers and a chairman in under 12 months. Just maybe.

You have consistently policed the board and accused several posters of being crap fans for voicing critical opinions on a discussion forum for at least 10-15 years now, maybe more. I bet you have spent more time putting down other posters than discussed actual football.

Too many have been too keen to find excuses for too many things at this club for too long. I think we’ve probably all done it at times, and it’s played its part in us arriving here.

It all needs calling out.

It's so tiring having to pack every single opinion that isn't everything is awesome in, he's a great guy, has a beautiful wife, works hard, eats well, never swears, gives to charity, has nice teeth, goes to church every Sunday, pets kittens, pays taxes but... I don't think he's such a good crosser. Please don't say I'm a bad fan or don't support the club!

I remember getting such a ribbing for calling the brainless liability Bentaleb a "not a 100% reliable midfielder", he was part of the 98-move goal you fool, move your bad fan ass over to SC, that I promptly sold my computer and didn't dare venture onto the Interwebs for 3 years.
