Would rather not see Lennon on that pitch... In fact I wish we as a club had the balls to stand up and say we're not sending our players out on it .

If it were an FA cup tie Torquay v Swindon on a Wednesday night it would be off
 
That was a great example of how you don't always need Soldado or Falcao to score - if you get people in the right places and drill the ball across, it can easily get bundled in by anyone, friend or (de)foe
 
You really wonder what the benefit of playing this game is. The pitch is so dire that its nigh on impossible for the players to get into any sort of flow
 
Do the commentators not know we have bought chadli keep going on about how we dont have a wide left player or anyone to replace lennon

If we have to play with Dempsey, Ade & Defoe as our strikers we have zero chance next season, fudging woeful the trio of them

Liking the new shirt. And have changed my mind on the light blue HP logo. It stands out less. A massive dark blue circle would dominate the shirt.

Indeed, they have no idea about Chadli etc, although it was interesting they implied BAE has had his day and Rose is being groomed to play and not be sold or loaned - they had clearly spoken to someone at Spurs, the way they said it. They also said Adebayor was lolloping about and dropping too deep in the last game, and that was not what the coach wanted, so again that was interesting.

We look half decent, mostly because South China are so crap. Will be a different ball game on a flat pitch with 10 changes to personnel!
