Other Clubs - Rumours and Discussion

I think it is about 250 hours.. Now how is he going to get that all done before the start of Serie A???

How does it usually work for people who get community service? Are they given a deadline to complete it or are they just stuck on probation until they have finished it all etc?
If so he could just leave and think ''sod it''

either way, getting Tevez for that kind of fee is a complete steal!

Cardiff City have confirmed they have reached an agreement to sign FC Copenhagen striker Andreas Cornelius

Cardiff City have swooped for Denmark striker Andreas Cornelius.

And is understood to be a record breaking move to bring the FC Copenhagen frontman with an £8.5m fee believed to have been agreed to land the 20-year-old.

The Bluebirds hope to complete personal terms and formalities on the first transfer of the summer for a player who has been monitored by a string of Premier League sides.

Everton and Stoke had both previously linked with Cornelius, who rose to prominence in his homeland having made the breakthrough last season.

Cornelius, a 6ft 4 frontman, had previously outlined his desire to move to the English top-flight having said: “The Premier League is a great competition.

”The Copenhagen youth team product gained Europa League experience last term while hitting 20 goals in all competitions helping his side to the Superliga title and establishing himself as the main striker in the Danish national side.

Cardiff boss Malky Mackay was determined to land a main frontman to add to the firepower of Frazier Campell and Nicky Maynard for their debut Premier campaign.

Swansea City look to have sealed their deal in their search for a striker - smashing the club record in a £10.2m swoop for Wilfried Bony.

WalesOnline reported how Swansea had lodged a big money bid for the Vitesse Arnhem in the last few days to try and land the frontman Michael Laudrup wanted.

And now reports in Holland have stated that a 12m Euro deal has been completed for the Eredivisie top scorer to head to the Liberty Stadium.

Arnhem newspaper de Gelderlander report they have had confirmation from the 24-year-old's agent over the move which will almost double the Swansea record for a transfer, set in the £5.55m swoop for Pablo Hernandez last August.

Swansea did not confirm the deal when contacted by WalesOnline but it seems set that the 6ft Ivory Coast ace is heading for South Wales following the incredible 31 goals from 30 appearances in the Dutch top flight last year.

PSV Eindhoven have given permission for left-back Erik Pieters to talk to Stoke City - Pieters due to head to England later today

Mark Hughes well under way

Cornelius is a very promising player indeed but paying 8.5m is a lot of money. Would've expected a club that didn't have to rely on him right from the start to buy him. Bold move by Cardiff.

Sky sources: Manchester United have made a bid for Everton defender Leighton Baines - Everton have told #ssn Baines is not for sale.

Not a shock really; Moyes wants one of the best players at his former club, Everton want to retain him, no sale unless ridiculous money offer.

Really like what Laudrup is doing, getting in players that suit his style rather than just big names for the sake of it, he's getting in Spaniards too as they tend to play his brand of football, that's his third Spaniard he has signed if I remember correctly.
