Agreed. That area (as I'v waffled on about before) worries me. They have to sort it out... teams will continue to puncture us there.
 
This is like watching non league football. Not entertainment whatsoever. A team of lazy ****s who seem to have a massive lack of footballing ability.

I'm no Defoe fan and never have been but he's been decent today. Coming deep and trying things, getting involved, running at defenders. There's not much he can do more against a team happy to defend deep.

He's been ok. People are exaggerating about how bad he's been but he needs time to settle. Steff makes it a point to criticise him every post which is fine but you can't then moan at people for bashing other players. It doesn't even seem like he notices he's doing it.
 
@Jimmy-g...how was my observation on Andros a 'slagging'? Want to plain? WOuld lot to know.

King...I have made comments on Sig with some pretty detailed contextual tactical comments. I have ALSO said I will give the guy time as perhaps he needs longer AND that I hope to be proven wrong. But every fudging time we play poorly and Jermain Defoe is on the pitch, HE appears to be the SOLE reason. Sorry mate, I get tired of it. Argue all you want, it's how I feel. People ned to look around the TEAM and see WHY he might not be working in this specific match...as for Ade, I will keep my mouth shut but I really wish he would get his fudging head in gear and allow us an option!!!

Sig pops up to score...nice late run to be there...maybe a turning point...
 
If you see the way Sigurddson plays and actually look at the bigger picture you would see he's a very good player. His movement is excellent, he finds space better than anyone in our squad but his passing is currently what's letting him down. in time that will come good but he needs an extended period in the first X1.
 
Was it offside? The keeper had gone out, but couldn't make out if there was more than one defender between him and goal.

I bash Sig I think he is brick he has scored today but generally he has been poor. Defoe has been very good and consistent that if he actually has a poor half etc its kinda allowable because he has been good.

Anyways us talking about bashing other players seems a bit gay haha
 
Well done Siggy. As I said, and I haven't commented on any negatives I've ignored them, he will prove to be a very decent signing.
