Very disappointing. They’ve been better than us but not to the extent that they deserve a lead.

Son seems to be back to one of his bad streaks. He’s worked but he’s been poor. Kane is trying stuff but nothing happening. Bale isn’t in the game. Reguilon, Toby and Hojbjerg have been decent. Dier has been far and away our best player, thought he was outstanding. Says a lot that our only decent performers are defensively minded players.

Need to pick it up big time.

Defensively the back 4 with Hojberg and Sissoko have done fairly well. It is the offensive aspect that I am shocked at. How often were our forwards in the box?
 
Not a great half. Bit worrying that we been pretty poor last few games. Let’s hope for better.
We can certainly grind a game out but this collection of players is better than what we are seeing currently
 
they press us high and are very disciplined getting bodies in front of the ball when we have it - same like the twerps and burnley

as long as we keep them as far away from our goal, the better, but our possession and passing needs to be crisper to pry them open

I think we've been OK. Missed a sitter, been a little slow in the final third BUT west brom are clogging us and these teams/games are not going to be easy because their primary focus is to stop us. Have to say too that Sonny is on the bubble of fatigue IMO...

They don’t have to do much. Our midfielders are passing square and backwards which allows them time to get into shape so they just need to be where they are supposed to be rather than having to do anything special.

Looks like we are relying on a piece of brilliance, which doesn’t look to be forthcoming, or we catch them on a break.
 
Poor yet again. Doherty has zero confidence and never puts in a good cross.

Every time we play WBA we struggle, so frustrating.

Their keeper has made zero saves from our zero shots, Jesus Christ.
 
What’s the point of having full backs that can cross if they don’t actually cross?
