OMT Tottenham v Gillingham - League Cup

Onomah has done ok. He has been good at setting colleagues up.
Precisely. He is at the cutting edge. He is supposed to be cutting inside to score. Or cutting outside to make space. Or tricking someone into a penalty. Or scoring. So far everything has been a first touch pass to the next man... which is nice but also comes across as a bit "don't give it to me, hot potato, sideways pass" rather than "give me the ball, I'm the man, watch me create that chance"

the next man is Eriksen or Lamela, they are the man

Elsewhere, Heathens persist

Australian man patents the Hamdog - a hotdog and burger combo

Yep - Balesque (ala that Stoke volley).

now i'm a fan of bale, but he had time to set his feet and watch it onto his foot, mason had to sprint to even get to this

greater technique imo

for anyone more interested in the great random chat in the thread than the game (easily done), Eriksen has scored another

How many appearances do you give him before you don't think these anonymous performances are acceptable? He's started a few games and had a couple dozen sub appearances, yet I don't think I've ever seen him create a chance, beat a man, have a decent effort,...I want all Spurs players to succeed, espectially young players, but Onomah is given huge leeway for not doing anything
