***OMT Tottenham Hotspur Vs Watford***

If no Dembele we get beaten imo.

Lloris
Walker Toby Verts Davies
Dier Dembele
Lamela Alli Son
Kane

2-2

Could do with one of these today:

Maybe it's just that they are all together, but those 'mistakes' look so, so sus, given how good a shot stopper he was. Hard to believe that a top keeper could make so many basic errors as those and at crucial moments too.

Watching that, it does looks like someone may have been paid off to do what he did.

Definitely worth calling the grammar police to have a look at that one.

There's a lot of this 'permanent present tense' around at the moment.

Two horrible examples in the Times today in Cascarino's column. Makes my skin crawl reading it. Something like "... Doubts whether Rooney gets in the England squad in the summer..."

I hate it. It sounds so lazy!

I figured he'd rotate at least one full-back and start Carroll. Surprised Son isn't getting a start. Very pleased Dembele is fit.

Strange changing walker out...

Maybe the one booking could have been on his mind

Also Carroll... Not a number 10 for me

Carroll starting, eh? Not sure what to think about that. Can see him being muscled out of the game, but then again, might give him confidence coming from that goal.

Carroll played an advanced role against Norwich and did the job. For me, it makes more sense him playing higher up than deeper, Dembele and Dier have been rock solid in the deep positions and Watford are very physical upfront, so we need strong players deep to help out our centre-halves.

Watfordfc line-up: Gomes (GK); Anya, Cathcart, Britos, Ake; Capoue, Watson; Abdi, Deeney (c), Jurado; Ighalo.

Subs: Arlauskis (GK), Nyom, Prödl, Holebas, Behrami, Guedioura, Diamanti.

Wonder why Son hasn't had a start yet? Maybe easing him back in gently.

Don't mind me, just taking to myself!

Glad to see Eriksen dropped, like him but he's been poor for a while now. Might be better off for having a break and coming back fresh next week.

I thought Lamela might get a rest today with Son starting. But Poch knows what the players can handle.
