No they weren't they played us brilliantly exposed our frailties at the back to devastating effect. Need a striker can't understand the moutinho gonads if we have a limited pot we need to blow it on one or 2 strikers.

I can say that I hope Parker and Friedel never never play for us again. Both of them have found their level, Parker outfought by Michael Brown. He can take a few notes out of Brown's book and realise that you don't have to run around everywhere to be defensive screen. His constant pushing forwards instead of Hudd or Dembele despite him not having the ability to play as well in more advanced positions demonstrates a lack of understanding of the game.

I do hope so. We were poor, just poor. Either misplaced passes or people not releasing the ball. Yuk!

Diouf held the ball up better than I've seen any of our strikers do for a long time

Hopefully this result shows levy we need players to boost the squad.

That is frankly an embarrassing comment to make.
 
Benny laid it on a plate for Obika. Why didn't he hit it first time? It sat up beautifully. This is a great example as to why you should not rotate goalkeepers. How bad was Friedel? Caulker? Not what I'd hoped for, as he stated the season well. Same haircut as Walker, now he is putting in the same performances.
 
Too many poor performances. Huddlestone - brick. Verts -brick. Siggy - brick. Parker - brick. Naughton - brick. Friedel - meh.

Only Dempsey, Bale and Dembele better than poor.

The difference is this was a cup game, the games next week are in the league. It does matter for the players' motivation.

Not too bothered really. Gives us a better chance of doing well in the league and EL.
 
Parker is a soft **** with no vision or drive. Obika? What the fuk is he doing at spurs still. Probably on 2-3 grand a week. Unbelievable. Dodgy squad for sure.
