***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs KAA Gent - 2nd Leg***

He lost his head because he didn't get a freekick, then he sprang up and went for the knees. Really poor from Alli, you could tell from his body language before he did it

Lost it completely, that's a red for me. Very poor from Dele. Well...lets concentrate on the FA cup then.

Terrible challenge. He HAS to go for that!!!! Mistimed or not, you cannot throw yourself around like that really. He was frustrated at not getting the free-kick moments earlier. Naive my young friend but he will learn.

will he, he was doing that a year ago

F*cking typical. There is always something just ephemerally *flaky* about us - we think it's killed off when we play incredibly well (against Chelsea, for example), it comes back.

Okay lads, you want to prove that you're not flaky (as you keep insisting in interview after interview)? Win.

Win with ten men.

Two observations - 1) the ref has been woefully bad. Let everything go and built up the tension, and then called everything for Gent in a ten minute spell. Obviously it was going to get out of hand.

2) Kane has had four good balls in from the right, and has been beaten to it by his defender *every* time. That's the bread and butter for every striker -get across your man, especially a mid-table Belgian league defender.
