****OMT Tottenham Hotspur vs Fulham **** Saturday 19th April 2014 12:45

i feel for siggy too. thrown to the lions in a pathetic midfield away to liverpool, now doesn't get a look in against teams where he could really stake his claim.

bentaleb in, undroppable, now doesn't play. sandro a forgotten/punched man etc.

baffling and seriously disheartening. rubbish for the club, players and fans. the only happy person in all this is tim sherwood. is chadli a better cm than holtby? has paulinho earned his 'spurs' more than sandro?

i don't think i ever felt like this through football before; just a complete sense of disillusionment, concern, apathy and genuine worries about the club moving forwards.

i've rarely felt sorry for players in the past, but i really feel sorry for some of our summer transfers. soldado has had to endure a terrible season and imo was completely mismanaged. shouldv'e been banging in the goals against the EL minnows to get his confidence up, but instead those games and goals went to a player not even at the club anymore. lewis holtby's move to us has been a blow to a career that was on an upward trajectory: instead of playing in the CL and fighting for 2nd in Germany, he is on loan at the PL's bottom club.

lamela is blatantly a hugely talented argentine international, who is now going to miss out on a world cup in brazil. he's been reduced to almost not being a player, just someone to took the **** out of in interviews. a WC in brazil must be a highlight in any argentine's career. i also feel sorry for siggy, who chose us over joining a liverpool team, managed by a man who could've got the best out of him and made him part of a team that is challenging for the PL. his career has stagnated at a vital intersection.

i'm really a bit embarrassed and ashamed of our club at the moment. when i look at the line up today and think what it should be, or could've been with a bit more care and proper management... i ... well ... i just honestly don't know what to say.

THFC 1: Lloris; Naughton, Kaboul, Fryers, Rose; Lennon, Paulinho, Chadli, Eriksen; Kane, Adebayor

THFC 2: Friedel; Walker, Dawson, Chiriches, Vertonghen; Sandro, Dembele; Lamela, Holtby, Sigurdsson; Soldado

Wonder what the score would be :)

Because any team needs a platform. Having a decent holding CM gives the full backs, wingers and other CM licence to push on

But he cant pass the ****ing round white thing!
He's not a holding players he's a hacker and inforcer a players that at his best hares off after the opposition to get the ball back.
We are playing Fulham they wont have the ball.

What top team plays with a pure defensive midfielder as their platform?

I agree with most of your thoughts. It should though hopefully be four more games before the idiot is gone

Special Get to Know Cancer shirts for today...

It's a worthy cause and good of you to post but people are to het up about bashing the manager and putting another little sobbing rant out BEFORE THE GAME to care about something important like this.

So yet again TS doesn't think Sandro is good enough to get a game and this time he's not even good enough to make the bench!! Sandro made him comeback on 27 Feb so is clearly not injured and his tweet this morning confirmed as much.

Cant wait til this season is over and TS is gone. In fact, part of me hopes he lose today and also in our remaining games in order ensure the cretin gets fired

If I was a Brazilian international possibly being denied a place at my home World Cup because of a manager's intransigence in allowing me to be involved in a squad of inferior players I would be looking to change clubs.

Well considering team 2 ie the "omg look at the players sherwood left out" team would only have Friedel; Chiriches; Sandro, Dembele; Holtby, Sigurdsson; because the rest are injured I'd go for team 1

I'm aware that some are injured but on another given day that could be our lineup.

Which is why Levy needs to make the change as early in the close season as possible in other than when the players head off to Brazil, they know they're coming back to a better place than the one they left

Three of the four CL semi finalists for start.

In what world?

Oh come on how many times have we seen Sandro playing a two man midfield and he cant help him but push right up when the opposition has the ball leaving a huge gap behind him for them to thread a pass through. He does it all the time. It gets worse when you pick up on it and notice him do it all the time.

Have you ever watched Sandro play football?

That's not hyperbole, it's a serious question, because I can't for the life of me see how anyone can watch him play and come to that conclusion.
